Create Jira tickets in Slack as a customer
Troopr allows customers to create Jira ticket in Slack just as they would create in the Jira customer portal.

Different ways to create Jira tickets in Slack as customer:

    In Troopr App Home in Slack

    Using Troopr Launcher

    Ticket Emoji


  • Troopr Help Desk product should be enabled in your Troopr workspace
  • Troopr should be connected to your Jira

1. Create in Troopr Home in Slack

To create a ticket from "Troopr Assistant Home tab in Slack", click on "Troopr Assistant" in Slack (if not visible, add the app first by clicking on "+" button next to Apps and choosing "Troopr Assistant"). Then navigate to Home tab and click on "+ Ticket".
This will open dynamic ticket creation form

2. Create using Troopr Launcher

Launch Troopr by typing this command in any Slack channel
This will open Troopr launcher.
Then click on "+ Ticket" to open the dynamic issue creation form.

3. Ticket Emoji

Add :ticket: emoji to a Slack message to convert it to Jira ticket. If additional information is needed, Troopr will open the customer ticket creation form.
Please make sure that the channel where you are using the ticket emoji is setup as customer support channel.
